In this special episode, MacPFD Spark provides an alternate format to the McMaster University Department of Medicine's Chairs Grand Rounds talk on addressing anti-black racism in healthcare which took place on October 1st of 2020. The FHS Inclusive Teaching CoP is a new community of practice for instructors in the Faculty of Health Sciences to learn more about inclusive teaching practices. The goal of the CoP is to provide FHS instructors with a space to share experiences, exchange resources, and learn more about instructional strategies for inclusive teaching in academic and clinical learning environments. There will be one more meeting in the Winter term:

Dr. Madeleine Verhovsek is a Hematologist with a passion for health equity, anti-racism, and exceptional patient care. She is an associate professor in the Department of Medicine at McMaster University. Dr. Verhovsek is associated with the McMaster Hemoglobinopathy Clinic and the Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program.
